Dr. Fariha Hayat Salman

I am an Associate Professor of Education at the American University in Dubai (AUD) with a graduate teaching concentration in Educational Technology, Learning and Human Development, and Inclusive Education. 

As Director, Center for Teaching Excellence & Learning Innovation (CTELI), I led institutional initiatives at Iqra University (2021-2023) focused on faculty leadership and professional development through global linkages, quality assurance, and policy review and implementation with 80% growth rate per year. As Program Lead for the UK Advance Higher Education Academy Fellowship Program, I spearheaded the completion of a rigorous and high stakes program with 100% success rate of fellowship endorsement.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology from the Pennsylvania State University, USA; Masters in Educational Research (MRes) from the UCL- Institute of Education, UK. 

Awards: Ardeth & Norman Frisbey Global Award, USA; Fulbright PhD Scholarship, IOE Centenary Research Award, Penn State Dean’s Fellowship in Research Engagement.
